The Vissai Song Lam 2 factory officially enters commercial production

(Baonghean.vn) - Song Lam 2 Cement Factory(Hoi Son commune, Anh Son district)belonging to The Vissai Group, after trial operation, has now gone into stable production, selling 50,000 tons/product per month and creating jobs for nearly 500 workers.

After the trial production period, on October 1, 2015, the factory started selling products. Up to now, after 6 months of production, the factory has completed the process and sold 50,000 tons/month. The productivity of the kiln reached 1,600 tons/month, exceeding the capacity of 100 tons/month.

The factory uses German technology,capacity of 600,000 tons/year.

The factory currently produces 3 main products: PCP 30, PCP 40 and clinker PCP 50. Currently, the factory's products are consumed by The Vissai Group's Trading Company and distributed to distributors.

The factory has 460 employees, including skilled workers and unskilled workers. The old workers are accepted and retrained by the corporation and put into use in the new production line, with an average of 5 million VND/person/month.

Mr. Dang Dinh Dong, the factory's administrative manager, said: The factory has implemented a full salary and insurance regime for all employees, accepted most of the old employees of the Anh Son 12/9 Petroleum Cement Factory, and recruited 200 new employees, mainly in the Anh Son area, to serve the factory's operations.

In addition to creating jobs for local workers, the factory also contributes to the development of diverse commercial services in Hoi Son commune in particular and Anh Son district in general.

Song Lam 2 Cement Project was acquired by The Vissai Cement Group in early 2015 from 12/9 Petroleum Cement Joint Stock Company, a member of Vietnam Oil and Gas Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC).

This is an investment project to change technology from vertical kiln to rotary kiln, increasing capacity from 90,000 tons of cement to 600,000 tons of cement/year, bought and invested by The Vissai Group, is the second factory of the group in Nghe An.
