Khe Bo Hydropower Plant: Safe production associated with epidemic prevention
(Baonghean.vn) - In 2021, the production and business situation faced difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and complicated weather, but with the timely attention and support of Vietnam Electricity Development Joint Stock Company and local authorities, Khe Bo Hydropower Plant has strived to successfully complete the dual task of both safe electricity production and epidemic prevention.
FactoryKhe Bo Hydropower Plantis a unit under Vietnam Electricity Development Joint Stock Company (VNPD) and during its operation, it has always received timely attention and support in all aspects from VNPD. Therefore, despite many difficulties, in 2021, the factory invested in maintenance and upgrading of equipment and machinery systems... including the completion of the H2 unit renovation (from November 5 to 21, 2021). Thanks to major repairs and special attention to operational management, research to find optimal operating solutions for each device, there were no incidents or shortages.electricity output(due to incidents and power loss compared to design).

In 2021, Khe Bo Hydropower Plant operated the power plant safely, stably, reliably and produced a total output of nearly 366 million kWh/342 million kWh (107% of the plan). This is a meaningful number of Khe Bo Hydropower Plant, contributing significantly to VNPD achieving a total output of more than 510 million kWh/431.8 million kWh (118.10% of the yearly plan and an increase of 20.84% over the same period in 2020).

In recent times, the unit has paid great attention to occupational safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, natural disaster prevention and search and rescue, and environmental protection. The factory has disseminated and promptly deployed legal documents of the State, Vietnam Electricity Group, Power Generation Corporation 1 and VNPD on occupational safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, search and rescue and environmental protection to employees. Directed to strengthen quality management and safety at the factory, risk management and assessment to minimize incidents and unsafety in production activities. In 2021, there were no incidents or occupational safety losses. Along with that, Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work was carried out seriously (in 2021, there were no cases of F0, F1).

Implementing the 2021 theme on digital transformation of Vietnam Electricity Group and the company, the unit has thoroughly informed all leaders, officers, employees to deploy and have achieved results in digitalizing construction data. Up to now, the digitization of documents, texts, equipment and construction management records has been basically completed and will be completed by the end of 2022. Using digital applications: E-office application (D-office is being deployed); Video conferencing system; Using digital signatures for leaders; applying shared software (HRMS, PMIS, FMIS, RCM module ...), electricity bidding software, dispatch order management, meter data collection (Datalink Plus). In addition, upgrading information technology infrastructure (computers, servers, private websites, internal network systems and internet ...) is being deployed.
