Khe Bo Hydropower Plant will release water through the spillway tonight (August 15).

To ensure the safe regulation of water in Khe Bo Hydropower Plant's reservoir according to the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin, Khe Bo Hydropower Plant plans to operate and regulate water in Khe Bo Hydropower Plant's reservoir as follows:

Estimated time of spillway discharge: At 23:45, August 15, 2023. Discharge volume: Total discharge volume is about 300 m³/s to 690 m³/s (including: through generator sets and spillway compartment) and may vary depending on the water flow to the lake.

Time to end water discharge through spillway: Until the water flow to the lake is less than the water flow generating electricity through the generators.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs the People's Committees of the districts: Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen and Vinh city; Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Department of Road Management II to inform the authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Khe Bo Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the people.
