Hollywood film producer comes to Vietnam to teach filmmaking

The leading filmmaker and lecturer in the film capital came to Ho Chi Minh City and taught filmmaking for three days at the end of September.

From September 25 to 27, Dov Simens will come to Ho Chi Minh City to popularize the 3-Day Film School, which he has successfully applied in Hollywood and several countries around the world. The American lecturer and producer will present all the concepts of film production from ideation, script writing, pre-production, filming, editing and film distribution.

Filmmaker and lecturer Dov Simens came to Vietnam to teach filmmaking for three days.

The teaching content is a result of Dov Simens's 30 years of research and project development. Before moving into film education, Dov worked as a script reader and developer. He is currently a film producer and lecturer at American universities such as the University of Southern California, the University of California and New York University.

More than 1,000 people in the film industry, including many Oscar and Emmy nominees, have taken this short course in filmmaking. Famous directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan and actor Will Smith have also been students of Dov Simens.
