White House tells about Trump's letter to Putin
Donald Trump wrote a letter of introduction to Vladimir Putin about Senator Rand Paul at his request, White House deputy spokesman Hogan Gidley said.

"In the letter, the President recalled the topics that Paul wanted to discuss with Vladimir Putin," - Politico quoted Mr. Gidley.
Republican Senator Rand Paul announced on Wednesday that he had sent a letter from the head of the White House to the administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He noted that the message spoke of the importance of cooperation between the two countries in a number of areas, including counterterrorism, expanding dialogue in the legislative sphere and restoring cultural exchanges.
Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the letter from Trump was sent through diplomatic channels and in the near future it will be presented to the Russian President's administration.
