The White House gift shop has introduced a new coin commemorating the second US-North Korea summit in Hanoi.

The new coin was launched on February 23, priced at $100, with a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. The coin has two sides, one side has the text "New Avenue to Peace" in English and Korean, with an image of a globe with the words "second peace conference" in the middle, the name of South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the top, US President Donald Trump on the left and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on the right, according toCBS.

The other side of the coin features the words "Turning Point - Cooperation Towards Complete Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" with an image of the Presidential Palace in Hanoi, the flags of the United States, South Korea and North Korea, and the words "Peace Negotiations, Vietnam 2019".

The White House also revealed some details about how the US President is preparing for the second summit with North Korea. When asked what the White House's specific goals are, top White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said he wants to make progress on denuclearization.

"The president has been very clear that he wants the second meeting to continue to move forward on denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, which is beneficial to everyone," Conway said. "Of course, President Obama himself told President Trump that North Korea would be his greatest challenge. So he's working on that challenge, and we're on that path."

"We have people who were captured and returned to American soil. The vice president went to Hawaii to pick up the remains of those who died in the Korean War. Trying to end the nearly seven-decade war in North Korea and move toward denuclearization is an incredibly important goal and that's why the president is preparing for a second meeting, going a long way toward ending it. But in the meantime, the sanctions are still in place," Conway added.

President Trump is scheduled to leave the US next week for Vietnam to attend a summit with Chairman Kim Jong-un on February 27 and 28.
