Viet Duc Children's Cultural House opens summer course 2013
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to create a useful playground to practice talents and sports for the city's youth during the summer vacation, on the morning of June 2, the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House held the opening ceremony of the 2013 summer course.
Carrying out the function of training, fostering and developing talents for children, and at the same time being a center for team methods, currently the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House organizes training in more than 10 talent subjects, including some new subjects such as life skills, sports dancing, aerobics, presentation skills...
On the occasion of the opening of the summer course, the cultural house organized entertainment for children with folk games, art festivals, and gifts. Especially towards the 50th anniversary of Vinh City, 5 years of being a class I urban area, implementing the 54 plan of the City People's Committee within the series of activities on information, propaganda, culture and sports of the city, the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House launched a painting contest with the theme "I love my city", the contest is expected to be held to summarize the awards and open the exhibition gallery on August 15.
In the summer of 2013, the cultural house attracted nearly 2,000 children to participate in activities and study. To meet the needs of children, create trust and peace of mind for parents, the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House has continuously invested in upgrading facilities and teaching equipment; installed air conditioning systems for 100% of classrooms, and renovated the campus.
