Mr. Mai Trong Kien, born in 1978, is an artist of the Nghe An Folk Song Drama Troupe under the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Song Heritage. With nearly 20 years of experience as a drama actor, he has had many successful roles and made many positive contributions to the preservation and promotion of Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk songs.

Nearly 2 months ago, Kien could not walk due to femoral head necrosis, in addition to being tormented by gout for many years. The treatment method given by the doctors at the Orthopedic Trauma Hospital was only femoral head replacement surgery. To be healthy enough to undergo surgery, Trong Kien had to undergo a period of treatment at the Provincial Endocrinology Hospital.

And after more than a month of treatment and monitoring, on July 7, doctors at Nghe An Orthopedic Trauma Hospital successfully performed surgery to replace his femoral head.

Artist Mai Trong Kien recovered quite quickly after surgery.

According to Master - Doctor Tran Van Bien - Head of Spinal Neurosurgery Department - Nghe An Orthopedic Trauma Hospital, although patient Kien had quite severe gout, the surgery was initially successful. He is currently recovering well and will be able to walk again in about 10 days.
