(Baonghean.vn) - This year's combined subject exam is considered by many teachers to be suitable for the context of the Covid-19 pandemic but still differentiates candidates.

Comments on the examHistory, teacher Tran Thi Lan Anh - teacher at Nguyen Sy Sach High School (Thanh Chuong) said:

The History exam is suitable for the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and students have had to study online for more than 2 years. The exam questions are closely related to the sample questions and students can use the elimination method to easily achieve points, especially with the range of 5-7 points.

According to teacher Lan Anh, there are many questions in the test that just by looking at the answers, you can easily choose the correct option, for example, the question about the common currency Euro, the question about the Nava plan, the question about the Asian economic dragon.

At the differentiation level, teacher Lan Anh said that the last 8 questions are difficult and are for good students. With these questions, students must have a deep understanding of both the inside and outside of textbook knowledge and be familiar with advanced questions; for example, the question comparing the Dien Bien Phu campaign and Dien Bien Phu in the air...

Overall assessment of the exam, teacher Lan Anh also hopes that the scores will be higher than last year and that it will not be difficult for students to achieve high scores.

About the examChemistry, teacher Nguyen Thi Yen - Thanh Chuong 1 High School said: This year's Chemistry exam is exactly as described by the Ministry of Education and Training in the sample exam. Candidates can easily score points from questions 1 to 30 because of the basic knowledge in the textbook. The exam emphasizes the essence of the subject, there are no questions that are puzzling, calculating, or difficult for candidates.

The questions differentiate the exam quite well. The most difficult question is probably the Esther exercise question, which will take candidates a lot of time because the way it is given is more creative than previous years, and because it requires good thinking. Personally, I think I quite like this exam, many students did well and they only got a few differentiation questions wrong.

Having taught exam preparation for many years and paying attention to the exam questions, teacher Nguyen Minh Chien - Kim Lien High School, Nam Dan said that this year's high school graduation exam for Geography has the same structure as the sample exam that the Ministry announced on March 31, 2022, meeting the requirements of graduation recognition and the learning situation of students in the context of the pandemic. The exam has some good questions, differentiating the candidates.

Analyzing the exam more specifically, Mr. Chien said:

- About the scope of knowledge

+ The test has 40 multiple choice questions, 38 questions from Geography 12 and 2 skill questions from Geography 11 (lesson 11).

+ Theoretical knowledge of Geography subject grade 12 has 21 questions, accounting for 52.5%, equivalent to 5.25 points of the test including the following topics: Natural geography has 4 questions. Population geography has 2 questions, geography of economic sectors has 8 questions, geography of economic regions has 7 questions.

+ Geography skill has 19 questions accounting for 47.5% corresponding to 4.75 points of the test, including: 15 questions requiring the use of Vietnam Geography Atlas, 2 data table questions and 2 chart questions.

- About difficulty and knowledge distribution

+ The questions are arranged from easy to difficult, from question 71 onwards, there is a clear differentiation, ensuring the goals of the High School Graduation Exam and university and college admissions. The test has 75% of the questions testing basic knowledge at the level of recognition and understanding and 25% of advanced knowledge at the level of application and high application.

+ The advanced knowledge section focuses mainly on two topics: Geography of economic sectors and Geography of economic regions. From question 71 onwards, the difficulty level increases with questions about causes, meanings, impacts, solutions... associated with the word "mainly" in the question.

With this question, candidates who want to get a score of 10 need to have a solid and deep grasp of basic knowledge and skills from the Geography textbook, apply synthetic and relational thinking, find out the causal relationships between geographical factors, and actively update current geographical information of the region and the country to do well on questions in the exam with the key word "currently". For example, question 74 of exam code 321, you need to read the question carefully, pay attention to some special phrases to "avoid traps" because each question must have 1 correct answer. This is the most difficult question in the exam, taking up a lot of the candidates' time.

Teacher Nguyen Minh Chien predicts that the average score for Geography in the province will be over 7.20 points, higher than in 2021: Currently, many universities have pioneered in combining the scores of the entrance exam to assess students' abilities and the results of the high school graduation exam, so such an exam will differentiate the scores and quality of candidates. This exam forces teachers and students to change their teaching and review methods to achieve high results.

AboutPhysicsAccording to Nguyen Van Tho - Physics teacher - Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Vinh City), this year's Physics exam closely follows the reference exam of the Ministry of Education and Training. This creates a comfortable and confident mindset for students when taking the exam because before that, teachers and students had time to teach and review according to the above orientation.

Specifically, the test is clearly differentiated from the levels of recognition, understanding, application and high application. In particular, the test is quite easy at the basic level for students to earn 6-7 points. If students review seriously and diligently, they will not have difficulty with these first 30 questions.

From the 30th question onwards, the test differentiates strongly and clearly, and it is difficult for students to get points in this section. The test has 5 high-class questions falling into the chapters of Mechanical Oscillation, AC Electricity, Mechanical Waves, and Light Interference. In the classification questions, although the questions closely follow the illustrated questions, with these questions, candidates must put their pen to paper to solve and clearly understand the nature of Physics. On the contrary, if they make judgments or just learn mechanically and memorize the type of exercises, it will be difficult to find a solution and find the correct answer.

Among the high-level application questions, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho was particularly impressed with the question about mechanical oscillation and two spring pendulums. This question involved both physical phenomena and mathematics. The way the questions were asked was difficult, forcing candidates to think a lot. Only candidates with real physics ability and good mathematics could answer this question. Therefore, the exam differentiated students from good (8 points) to good (9 points) and excellent (over 9 points), and there were not many candidates who achieved a perfect score.

Overall, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho assessed that this year's Physics exam was good, well differentiated, and met the graduation and admission goals for lower, middle, and higher-ranking universities. At the same time, he was also satisfied with the Physics teachers.
