Gatekeeper saves train from danger

At 12:05 noon on January 20, while the North-South freight train HBN1T1 had just left Cau Giat station, on the way to Vinh for 7 minutes, the gatekeeper here had closed the barrier to let the train pass, suddenly a truck with license plate 37C 08057 driven by Le Tien Truong (born in 1985, residing in block 9, Mai Hung ward, Hoang Mai town) traveling in the direction of Hoang Mai - Vinh, suddenly fell onto the railway, lying neatly in the level crossing. Immediately, gatekeeper Duong Van Kien quickly left the gate, raised the emergency alarm and led the train back to the level crossing to wait for the car to be lifted off the railway before allowing the train to pass safely.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the truck overturning onto the railway.
