Airline staff 'stole' Ipad from passenger's suitcase
During the process of unloading luggage on the plane, seeing that the passenger's suitcase was unlocked, Long - an airline employee, quickly "stole" the Ipad inside. However, his actions were discovered by the security team.
The incident occurred at Noi Bai Airport on the afternoon of July 28. Accordingly, while on duty at the screening screen at the eastern internal passageway of Passenger Terminal T2 - Noi Bai International Airport, the staff of the International Terminal Security Team noticed a loading and unloading staff carrying an old black iPad from the restricted area to the outside. The iPad was placed in the pocket of a raincoat.
The airline employee is Nguyen Thanh Long (born in 1992, residing in Dong Anh district, Hanoi), a porter at Vietnam Ground Services One Member Co., Ltd., Noi Bai branch. When checked by airport security, Nguyen Thanh Long said he had brought the iPad through gate 1 at the beginning of his shift but had not registered it.

However, noticing unusual signs, the security screening staff reported to the International Terminal Security Team on duty to coordinate with the Mobile Security Team to verify. Nguyen Thanh Long was invited to the Mobile Security Team's duty room to work.
Initial information shows that Nguyen Thanh Long admitted that the iPad was not his. While serving flight VN7569 from Hanoi to Cam Ranh (Nha Trang), Long was loading loose luggage into the aircraft hold, a passenger's backpack came unzipped, Long saw an iPad inside so he took it and hid it on his person. Waiting until the end of his shift, Long put the iPad in his raincoat pocket and brought it out but was discovered.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by Noi Bai International Airport Police Station.
