Smuggling 45 old Iphone phones, fined 20 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - In addition to being administratively fined 20 million VND, Ms. T. had all 45 smuggled used iPhones confiscated.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision 4533/QD-UBND on administrative sanctions for violations in commercial activities, production, trading of counterfeit and banned goods, and consumer protection against Ms. HTT (born in 1988), owner of a mobile phone repair shop in Cua Nam ward, Vinh city.
Previously, the authorities discovered 45 used Iphone 6 phones at Ms. T's phone repair shop. During the inspection, Ms. T. could not present documents or invoices for the above phone numbers. The Economic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has drawn up an administrative violation record against Ms. T. for trading in smuggled goods.
Pursuant to Point h, Clause 1, Article 17, Decree No. 185/2013/ND-CP dated November 15, 2013 of the Government, the Provincial People's Committee administratively fined Ms. Hoang Thi Thuong 20 million VND, and confiscated all the used Iphone 6 phones mentioned above and auctioned them off to the State budget.
