Japan prepares to intercept North Korean missiles
According to NHK, the Japanese government has deployed an interceptor missile system, after the Democratic People's Republic of Korea announced it would launch a satellite-carrying rocket this month, which Tokyo said was actually a ballistic missile test.
On December 2, the Japan Self-Defense Forces began deploying units to shoot down parts from North Korean missiles.

An Air Self-Defense Force unit has begun moving from Camp Hakusan in western Wakayama Prefecture to Okinawa, Japan's southernmost prefecture. The unit's vehicles carry PAC-3 interceptor missiles and launchers.
Other Self-Defense Force units equipped with PAC-3 systems also left bases in Shiga and Fukuoka prefectures.
Japan's Defense Ministry predicts that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's missile will fly over Okinawa's Sakishima Island./.
