(Baonghean.vn) - On the way to the field, Mr. Lau Phai Da, born in 1968, Nga Ba village, Huoi Tu commune, Ky Son, suddenly discovered a small yellow plastic bag lying on the side of the road. Finding it strange, he opened the small plastic bag and discovered a grenade inside.

When Mr. Lau Phai Da discovered it at noon on July 27, the grenade was in a plastic bag, half of it deep underground, the other half sticking out of the ground, the tip of the grenade pointing up to the sky.

After discovering it, Mr. Phai Da informed the commune police to come to the scene to make a record and collect it. Mr. Cu Giong Mua, Chief of Huoi Tu Commune Police, said that the grenade was intact with the detonator pin and had a green parachute cord wrapped around it. The place where the grenade was discovered was an old road to Na Mi village, about 300m from the center of Nga Ba village.

Currently, the grenade has been seized by the commune's functional forces, awaiting handover to superior authorities for handling.
