Completely different from the previous shows of the program “Familiar Faces 2015”, in show 5 broadcast on the evening of May 16, female singer Nhat Thuy created a breakthrough and surprise when she transformed into folk artist Thanh Long, performing the play “Gia Chau De Nhi”.

Nhat Thuy's excellence also surprised judge Duc Huy: "This is the first time I've seen a music genre that is so captivating. Today you really shined, you are the brightest star tonight."

Coming to see Nhat Thuy perform, artist Thanh Long was invited to perform an excerpt from "Gia Hoang Muoi" in show 5.

To achieve this success, Nhat Thuy sought out the original character, folk artist Thanh Long, to learn from him to complete her role well. She actually had to go into a trance to fully express the spirit of the performance. However, Nhat Thuy said that this was an extremely difficult performance because when she studied, artist Thanh Long revealed to her, "There are people who study for 5 or 10 years and still can't sing. So Nhat Thuy surprised me because she was able to do it."

With this breakthrough, Nhat Thuy also won the highest score of the show 5 – 36 points to become the winner and receive a prize of 100 million VND.

At the end of show 5, singer Thanh Duy was still leading with 163 points, Mai Quoc Viet ranked second with 149 points, third was Ai Phuong - 144 points, fourth was Nhat Thuy - 140 points, fifth - Khuong Ngoc with 138 points, sixth - Ngoc Lien with 121 points./.

Therefore, he worked twice as hard to practice for this performance.

Khuong Ngoc transformed into Stevie Wonder with the classic song "I just call to say I love you". Under the hands of Choreographer Huu Tri, his performance was vividly illustrated about the pure love of couples in love.
