Unanimously recognize Mr. Tran Van Thong as a martyr

(Baonghean) -On September 6, 2013, the Department of Meritorious People - Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Official Dispatch No. 1063 to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province in response to Document 3696/TTr-UBND dated June 4, 2013 of the Provincial People's Committee requesting confirmation of martyr status for Mr. Tran Van Thong, an officer of the Western Nghe An Newspaper who died on May 23, 1965 while on duty with Editor-in-Chief Dang Loan.

The response is as follows: After receiving the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the submission dated August 16, 2013, the Department of People with Merits has the following opinion:

Agree to recognize Mr. Tran Van Thong as a martyr if the file of martyr Dang Loan shows that Mr. Tran Van Thong sacrificed with martyr Dang Loan.

Request the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An to guide Nghe An Newspaper to complete the dossier to submit to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Death Certificate and send an official dispatch to the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs for appraisal in Circular No. 05/2013/TT-BLDTBXH dated May 15, 2013.
