Vinh City Children won the SLNA 2016 gifted class football tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - Facing many difficulties against Thai Hoa 2 in the final match, however, luck and bravery in the penalty shootout helped the young players of Vinh City win the championship of the SLNA amateur gifted football tournament in the first time it was held.
To make it to the final match taking place this afternoon (December 18), Thai Hoa 2 defeated Quynh Luu, Nghi Loc, tied with Hoang Mai, then surpassed Thai Hoa 1 in the cluster final.
The young players of Thanh Vinh were not far behind when they had an undefeated record against Tan Ky, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong before excellently defeating the host Do Luong with a score of 3-2, thereby winning a ticket to the final match.

With the nature of a final match, Thai Hoa 2 and TP Vinh gave Dien Chau audience a series of attractive and dramatic plays. Although Thai Hoa 2 was at a disadvantage in terms of physique and force, the representative from Nghia Dan was the better team in terms of game position and number of opportunities created.
Without the help of the crossbar and the goalpost as well as the brilliance of the Vinh City goalkeeper, Thai Hoa 2 would have quickly opened the score.
However, due to an unfortunate mistake, goalkeeper Thai Hoa 2 had to go into the net to pick up the ball after a not-so-dangerous move. The first half of the match ended with a 1-0 advantage in favor of Vinh City Children.

Entering the second half, Thai Hoa 2's tireless efforts were rewarded when a Vinh City defender fouled an opposing player in the penalty area.
On the penalty spot, Thai Hoa 2 managed to level the score 1 - 1 before the official match time ended. In the nerve-wracking penalty shootout, Vinh City made no mistake to defeat their opponent with a score of 3 - 2. Thereby, they won the championship in the first time the SLNA Talented Classes Football Tournament was held.
Closing the tournament, the third prize went to Nhi Dong Do Luong and Thai Hoa 1. Receiving the style award were Nhi Dong Do Luong and host Dien Chau. Thai Hoa 2 took home the silver plate to the regret of the audience as well as the parents./.
