(Baonghean.vn) -On June 3, 2014, Nghe An Newspaper published information about the "Fragile Life" of two children, Vo Kim Phuc (born in 2011) and Vo Kim Loc (born in 2013), children of Vo Kim Dung (born in 1983) and Nguyen Thi An (born in 1987) in Village 5, Thach Son Commune, Anh Son District. Many interested readers contacted Nghe An Newspaper to inquire about the health of the two children and to send money to support the family to have the funds to take the children to the hospital for treatment.

Up to now, the family has received VND10,500,000 from readers through Nghe An newspaper. The departments of Anh Son district have donated nearly VND20,000,000. A group of readers in Vinh city donated VND10,000,000 and some medicine.

In addition to the above amount, on June 10, Nghe An Newspaper continued to receive 4,236,000 VND from Mr. Le Dinh Huy from abroad, a reader (anonymous) donated 2,000,000 VND, Nguyen Thi Minh Tuyet in Ho Chi Minh City donated 500,000 VND and some readers are transferring money. Currently, Vo Kim Phuc's two feet have almost completely become necrotic. She cries in pain all day long and is in such poor health that her family took her to Anh Son District Hospital and provided her with oxygen support, waiting for her father in Binh Duong to return so they can transfer her to a higher-level hospital.
