After 4 years of implementing Directive 06-CT/TW of the Politburo dated November 7, 2006 on implementing the Campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example", together with localities, sectors and levels in the province, Anh Son district has seriously and promptly implemented the Campaign; there have been many remarkable innovations in studying and following Uncle Ho.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Steering Committee of the Campaign focused on leading and directing the development of a plan to propagate the Campaign from the district to the grassroots level with many forms and vivid content, introducing and expanding good work experiences in localities and units throughout the district. Organizing 7 training topics for all grassroots party organizations, with more than 90% of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees participating.

Organizing the contest "Telling stories about Ho Chi Minh's moral example" from the grassroots to the district level, 21/21 commune party committees organized the contest and selected 21 reporters to participate in the district-level contest. Besides those activities, the content of registering to "follow" Uncle Ho was given special attention by the Steering Committee of the Campaign.

The content of "following" focuses on practicing thrift, fighting waste and bureaucracy; competing in production and business, striving to escape poverty; helping the poor, people affected by natural disasters and calamities, humanitarian and charitable activities; implementing administrative reforms, changing working methods; raising the sense of responsibility, serving the people, building the Party and protecting the Fatherland...

From the awareness of cadres, party members and people, the implementation of step 2 of the Campaign from "studying" to "following" has achieved many results. After 4 years of implementation, agencies and units in the district have helped 61 hamlets and villages with 5,566 poor households with more than 236 million VND in cash and hundreds of livestock breeds. Many highly effective economic models, such as: melon growing model in Cam Son, pineapple in Tao Son, sugarcane in Tho Son, biofertilizer production model in Hung Son, forest garden in hamlet 12 Long Son, hamlet 9 Hung Son, livestock farm with income of 240 million VND/year in Linh Son.

The Fatherland Front and political organizations in the district have well organized the movements "Warm Tet", "Mutual love", "Rice savings jar", mobilizing hundreds of millions of dong in donations to help union members and members in difficult circumstances. Some Party Committees have done a good job of mass mobilization, mobilizing people to donate land for road construction, such as Hung Son commune mobilized people to donate 45,000m2 of land, Binh Son commune donated 32,000m2 of land...

Many production and business establishments have paid attention to and invested in supporting producers to develop typical raw material areas such as Song Lam Sugar Company, Bai Phu Tea Enterprise, Anh Son Tea Enterprise..., overcoming difficulties in weather and climate, maintaining production and striving to complete the set plan.

The campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" in Anh Son has created positive changes in the training and education of cadres, party members and people, creating a strong spread, contributing significantly to the implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development and political security of the district.

At the conference summarizing 4 years of implementing the Campaign, Anh Son district commended and honored 29 outstanding collectives and 37 individuals, rewarded 4 collectives and 6 outstanding individuals in 4 years of implementing the Campaign, 1 collective and 2 individuals were proposed by the District Steering Committee for commendation by the province.

After 4 years of implementing the Campaign, the majority of cadres and party members have raised their awareness, responsibility, and taken the lead in training, maintaining moral qualities, lifestyle, and working style. Many people have become shining examples for the masses to learn from and follow, contributing to building a clean and strong party organization, and fulfilling the political tasks of the locality well.

In 2010, all 59 grassroots Party organizations completed their tasks well, of which 42 grassroots Party organizations achieved Clean and Strong status, accounting for 71%, and 9 grassroots Party organizations achieved exemplary Clean and Strong status. The district government was proposed to the Government to award the emulation flag, and the district Party Committee achieved Clean and Strong status.
