Many creative ways to study and follow Uncle Ho's example

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 3, the General Staff of Military Region 4 held a preliminary review of 2 years of implementing Directive No. 03-CT/TU of the Politburo; Directive No. 317-CT/QUTU of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, along with honoring and praising typical and advanced collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example in the period 2011 - 2013. Major General Ho Ngoc Ty - Deputy Commander of the General Staff and Major General Nguyen Chi Huong - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 attended the conference.

After 2 years of implementing the movement to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, many collectives and individuals in agencies and units of the General Staff of Military Region 4 have had many creative ways and diverse forms in following Uncle Ho's example such as: "Promoting the role of setting an example, saying goes with doing"; "Speaking many good words, doing many good deeds"; "Each person does one good deed a day"; "Rice savings jar"... Thereby, there have been positive changes in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, contributing to improving the quality, comprehensive strength, building a clean and strong Party organization, and a strong unit in all aspects. The quality of training, drills, combat readiness has been improved, building discipline, training, military administrative reform, amending working style and manners, quality and efficiency of work, moral qualities, and lifestyle of cadres and soldiers in agencies and units have changed positively.

The agencies and units of the General Staff of Military Region 4 have saved nearly 2 billion VND in daily activities and work, donated 600 million VND to visit, give gifts, do gratitude work, support the poor, build and hand over 2 gratitude houses with the amount of 140 million VND.

With the achievements, in the past 2 years, the General Staff of Military Region 4 has had 30 units awarded the title of "Determined to Win Unit"; 100 units awarded the title of "Advanced Unit, Advanced Labor Collective", 200 individuals awarded the title of Emulation Fighter, more than 800 individuals awarded the title of "Advanced Soldier, Advanced Labor" and 3 collectives were proposed to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, 3 collectives and 28 individuals were proposed to receive Certificates of Merit from the Minister of National Defense.
