(Baonghean.vn) - The implementation of Directive 03/CT-UBND in some localities is not strict, there are still many unlicensed medical and pharmaceutical establishments operating.
To rectify unlicensed medical and pharmaceutical practices that are harmful to public health as well as other violations in this field, on January 29, 2018, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Directive No. 03/CT-UBND on continuing to strengthen the management of non-public medical and pharmaceutical practices in the province.

In order to implement this Directive, the Department of Health and related departments, sectors and localities in the province have strengthened inspection, handled violations, and suspended violating establishments. As of June 15, 2018, the province still had 156 unlicensed establishments operating.

At the conference to evaluate the implementation results of Directive No. 03/CT-UBND organized by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on July 10, 2018, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong assigned responsibility to localities to suspend all unlicensed medical and pharmaceutical establishments by September 30, 2018.
In this meeting, local leaders with many unlicensed establishments were appointed to speak and pledged to rectify and strengthen the management of non-public medical and pharmaceutical practices.
