Many highland localities celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival

(Baonghean.vn) - These days, many localities have organized Mid-Autumn Festival programs for children.

In Chau Ly commune,People's Committee of Quy Hop districtorganized a Mid-Autumn Festival program with the theme "Sacred Crescent Moon".

Along with organizing many fun games, 100 children in Chau Ly commune were given gifts, of which Quy Hop District People's Committee gave 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND; Quy Hop District Youth Union, Quy Hop Disabled People's Support Association, each unit gave 5 gifts and businesses and benefactors in Chau Ly commune gave 90 gifts, each worth 200,000 VND.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented more than 100 gifts to ethnic minority students in difficult circumstances in the area, including 22 bicycles, 20 school bags, more than 7 million VND in cash and more than a thousand gifts including cakes and candies for the children present at the ceremony. The total value of the gifts was over 30 million VND.
