Ms. Lang Thi Vy in Tan Huong, Quy Chau said: "At the beginning of the new year, my extended family often goes to pagodas to pray for peace, but because we don't have enough cars, we often rent a family taxi package, which is both safe and convenient, especially for long trips."

For the past 3 years, every time after Tet, Ms. Hoang Thi Ngan no longer has to worry about waiting for hours to get a seat. She learned about the car rental service through an acquaintance, so every year she invites friends and relatives who are on the way to rent a car together. She said: "Although the price is quite "expensive", sometimes 3 - 4 times higher than the bus ticket, in return it is comfortable and spacious, without having to jostle and push."

To avoid crowded and jostling trains and buses, many families from the same hometown or traveling on the same route have proactively shared a taxi to save money. This service is especially popular after Tet. Many passengers have deposited money to reserve a car because after Tet, many people call, so cars are often scarce.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luc, who specializes in driving a family taxi in the Tan Ky area, said: “To prepare for the peak customer period, I had to have my car serviced early. After Tet, many people who work far away do not want to take the bus, so many people come to book a trip. The price depends on the route the customer wants to take. For example, taking passengers to Vinh costs from 1 million to 1.5 million VND, depending on the customer's needs. These days, he earns several million VND per day, the highest income of the year.”

Although it is just after Tet, hair salons are very crowded with customers, many even have people lining up to wait for their turn. Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Hung Dung, Vinh City said: "The days of Tet are busy with New Year greetings and the first temple visit of the year, so I go to the salon to wash my hair and get a full body massage. Because it is crowded at the beginning of the year, I have to wait more than an hour for my turn."

The owner of a hair salon on Nguyen Van Cu Street said: "These days, there are many customers coming to the salon to wash their hair and get massages. As soon as we open at 6-7am, customers are already waiting, we have to work until 10-11pm before closing. Many regular customers, instead of coming to the salon to wait, proactively call to make an appointment."

The shop owner said that after Tet, more than a hundred customers come to her shop every day, mainly for hair washing and massage, while most customers have their hair done before Tet. Hair washing alone costs from 50,000 to 100,000 VND, depending on the service requested by the customer. A combo of hair washing and full body beauty treatment costs from 200,000 to 350,000 VND, not to mention high-end beauty services. Salon owners earn millions of VND every day during the "playful month".

Parking at amusement parks, temples, etc.

After Tet, many people gather at temples and pagodas to worship and play in entertainment areas. Therefore, parking lots are almost full. Mr. Hung, a parking attendant at Vinh City Central Park, said: “After Tet, there are many visitors coming to the park to play, so the number of cars has also increased a lot. Although I have mobilized more relatives, it is still not enough to serve.”

As for Ms. Van, a parking attendant in front of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong Temple, Dien An Commune, Dien Chau District, she said she could not count how many cars came after Tet. Because of the Tet holiday, ticket prices doubled compared to normal days.

After Tet, parking fees at amusement parks and temples have increased. Cars cost from 20,000 VND to 50,000 VND depending on the location. Motorbikes cost 10,000 VND. Although high, due to the large number of people coming here, some places are still overloaded. Many people do not hesitate to pay expensive parking fees to get things done at the beginning of the year, especially to go to temples. Therefore, this service helps parking attendants earn millions of VND every day. However, many people are also upset with the unprofessional service attitude at parking lots, especially spontaneous parking lots that often raise prices, are irritable and sometimes move vehicles carelessly, causing damage to customers' vehicles./.
