Many households in the highlands of Nghe An continue to have to urgently evacuate from landslide areas.

After heavy rains and flash floods in the mountainous districts of Nghe An, on June 6, many households continued to be urgently evacuated from landslide areas. Currently, functional forces are actively helping people dismantle and move their houses.

The leader of Nhon Mai Commune People's Committee said that due to many days of rain accompanied by flash floods, the rocky ground in the villages has been soaked with water, increasing the risk of landslides. By the morning of June 6, there were two houses of households in Co Ha village located in the area threatened with landslides. They were the family of Mr. Hoc Van Thai (near-poor household) and Mr. Hoc Van Que (poor household). The houses of these two households are located on the edge of the stream, the water is flowing fast and the ground is soft, starting to collapse into the stream bed, so they had to be urgently evacuated.
