Many practical activities to support the poor

Quynh Luu District Labor FederationOrganized the handover of the "Union Shelter" house to teacher Tran Thi Thanh Tam, union member of Quynh Hoa Secondary School.

Ms. Tam is a contract English teacher at Quynh Hoa Secondary School. She is currently suffering from bone cancer and is in a particularly difficult situation. Recently, her family has been living in a cramped kiosk with great difficulty. Faced with this situation, the District Labor Federation has called on union branches and union members to support the construction of a new house for the family.

On this occasion, the District Labor Federation awarded Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tam 40 million VND (the above amount was taken from the Trade Union Shelter Fund).

Currently, the District Labor Federation has called on union bases and union members to support nearly 200 million VND to encourage and help Ms. Tam treat her illness, overcome difficulties in life and work with peace of mind.

Tuong Duong District Post OfficeCoordinated with the District Red Cross to organize the placement of charity donation boxes with the theme "connect, share and spread".

The charity fund box is located at the center of Tuong Duong District Post Office, calling on kind-hearted people and donors to share with the difficulties, unfortunate lives, victims of disasters, natural disasters...

Tuong Duong district currently has over 3,000 poor people, 2,790 disabled people, and more than 427 orphans. Many ethnic minority households still live in areas at risk of landslides and flash floods.

The Red Cross signed a commitment with the Tuong Duong District Post Office to call on everyone to join hands to help those in difficult and unfortunate circumstances. Launched among workers and employees of the two units, they donated one day's salary to create a spread in the community, especially during the Humanitarian Month of 2019.

Nghia Dan District Youth UnionCoordinated with Nghia Dan town Youth Union to organize the Charity Porridge Program to join hands for poor patients at the District Medical Center.

This time, the program distributed 150 bowls of free porridge to poor patients at the District Medical Center. This meaningful program is held annually every Thursday and the assigned Youth Unions will select ingredients, cook porridge and distribute it for free to patients and their families who are being treated at the District Medical Center.

Tan Ky District Red Cross Societydirectly visited and gave support money to 2 cases of serious illness in the area. The first case is Luu Thuy Chi, a first grade student at Dong Van 1 Primary School, who has leukemia and is currently being treated at the Provincial Oncology Hospital. Her family is in difficult circumstances and she is currently living with her grandmother.

The second case is Ms. Truong Thi Xuyen in Keo hamlet, Nghia Phuc commune, who has bone marrow cancer and her family is poor.
