Many activities to honor teachers on November 20

(Baonghean.vn) -On November 20, many localities in the province organized visits and gave gifts to schools in the area.

On the morning of November 20, Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20 and received the excellent emulation flag awarded by the Prime Minister.

Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School was established in 1977. Over the past 37 years, generations of teachers and students have made many positive contributions to building the school's glorious traditional history.

In the 2013-2014 school year, Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School continued to successfully complete its educational and training tasks, achieving the title of excellent provincial level, the leading flag of Do Luong District Secondary School. 4 teachers were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, 20 teachers and staff were awarded the title of grassroots emulation fighters, 19 initiatives, of which 3 initiatives were classified as A and B by the Department; the provincial excellent student teams of grade 9 achieved high rankings such as history ranked first, physics ranked second, math ranked third. The school had 49 grade 9 students achieving provincial excellent students. Of which, 11 won first prizes, 11 won second prizes, 23 won third prizes, 3 students won prizes in the National IOE competition, 3 grade 8 students won prizes in the provincial informatics competition. At the end of the 2013-2014 school year, the school had 234 students achieving excellent students.

With the outstanding achievements, last school year, the school was awarded the excellent emulation flag by the Prime Minister. Authorized by the superiors, the leaders of Do Luong district presented the excellent emulation flag to the teachers and students of Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School and presented congratulatory flower baskets to the teachers.
