(Baonghean.vn) - On March 19, many localities, agencies and units organized charity activities, gave gifts to students, broke ground on charity houses, provided medical examinations and free medicine to the poor in the province.

On this occasion, doctors and nurses of the District Health Center examined, provided advice on prevention, treatment and provided free medicine for eye diseases to the elderly in the locality. For those with serious illnesses, they will be advised on treatment methods or cataract surgery.

Of the 150 patients screened this time, 17 were scheduled for surgery. The District Health Center will coordinate with the Central Eye Hospital to perform free Phaco surgery for the patients.
