(Baonghean.vn) - In the face of continuous heavy rain in recent days, on September 27, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received a notice from hydropower units about the operation of releasing water from hydropower reservoirs.
To ensure the safe operation of water discharge from Nam Mo hydropower reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin, Nghe An Energy Development Corporation plans to increase the water discharge flow of Nam Mo hydropower reservoir as follows:
Estimated time to increase water discharge flow:8:00 a.m., September 27, 2023.
Total discharge is expected to be approximately 140-350 m3/s (including discharge through spillway gates and generator sets).
Estimated time to end water discharge through spillway:Until the water flow to the lake drops below 140 m3/S.
