Many Oscar-winning films attend European Film Festival in Vietnam

From May 13-27, audiences in Ho Chi Minh City coming to the 2017 European Film Festival will enjoy many famous Oscar-winning films.

This is the 18th time the European Film Festival has been held in Vietnam. 15 contemporary films from 15 European countries were selected mainly around the theme of “tolerance and respect”. Through this, the audience will enter a world of different emotional levels of each European citizen.

Most of the selected films have participated in domestic and international film festivals and won many prestigious awards worldwide such as: Eye Level (Germany), Breath (Austria), Little Wings (Finland), A Hard Decision (Belgium), My Body and Mother (France), Time to Die (Poland)...

With a variety of genres such as drama, sports, biographies and children's films... the European Film Festival is expected to bring cinema lovers in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, and Hanoi interesting and fun experiences.

The opening ceremony of the European Film Festival in Ho Chi Minh City will take place at 8:00 p.m. on May 13 at CineStar theater.
