(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Transport Department has many initiatives in administrative reform that have been put into management to better serve businesses and people.
Specifically: Initiative to coordinate with the Post Office in receiving documents, returning results of driving license exchange to the recipient's address (Nghe An Department of Transport is the first unit to implement nationwide, then the Vietnam Road Administration expanded nationwide); Initiative to build Mobi Work road management software in 2015, in coordination with EK Geographic Information Technology Joint Stock Company (now upgraded to GOVONE.VN in 2017). This is the road management, monitoring and maintenance software that Nghe An Department of Transport first put into use, managed and exploited nationwide.

There is also an initiative to build software to print driver's licenses and give them to students immediately after passing the test. This is the first software built by Nghe An Department of Transportation in the country in 2016. To date, Nghe An Department of Transportation is the only Department in the country to print driver's licenses and give them to students immediately after passing the test.
Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Head of the Department of Vehicle Management, Nghe An Department of Transport, said: The Department is also developing and perfecting the software for managing car driver training (currently, no Department of Transport unit in the country has implemented this); Researching and building software for traffic works appraisal in 2016 (submitting traffic works appraisal documents). Recently, the Department of Transport has also developed and perfected the Toll Collection Software (currently, no Department of Transport unit in the country has implemented this).
At the end of the year, when evaluating and classifying cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers and serving the emulation and reward work, the Department always uses the criteria of good performance of administrative reform tasks at agencies and units to evaluate, classify, and reward collectives and individuals.
Currently, the Department of Transport is setting the goal of: Cutting or proposing to cut 100% of administrative procedures under its management that cause difficulties and inconveniences for people and businesses; Announcing 100% of administrative procedures under the authority of the unit when there are changes; 100% of administrative procedures are posted and publicly disclosed in accordance with regulations on the electronic information portal of the agency, unit and at the Reception and Results Department. 100% of administrative procedures are implemented in accordance with the process; 100% of newly issued administrative procedures are strictly controlled in accordance with regulations.
In addition, the time to handle administrative procedures in the Department's fields of work is shortened by 50% to 80% and all recommendations and feedback on administrative procedures are received and processed promptly.
