Many capital incentives for livestock farming households
The Prime Minister has just issued a Decision stipulating a number of policies to support livestock farming households in artificial insemination of livestock, livestock breeds, and waste treatment to improve efficiency and protect the environment.
According to the decision, beneficiaries of the policy are households directly raising pigs, buffaloes, cows, and poultry, except for households raising livestock for businesses and people providing artificial insemination services for livestock.
Livestock households are supported with annual artificial insemination for pigs, buffaloes and cows if they meet the conditions of raising 10 or less sows or breeding buffaloes and cows, have the need, submit an application and are confirmed by the People's Committee at the commune level.
Livestock households are also supported to buy pigs, buffaloes, bulls for breeding and parent chickens and ducks for breeding. Specifically, one-time support of up to 50% of the value of breeding animals is provided to livestock households in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions to perform service breeding.

Regarding livestock waste treatment, households will be supported one time up to 50% of the value of building a biogas plant to treat livestock waste with a support level of no more than 5 million VND per plant per household.
