According to UPI, recently, scientists have researched and discovered that the harmful effects of skipping breakfast are seriously related to cardiovascular health.

Specifically, people who regularly skip breakfast are more likely to have clogged arteries than those who eat a full breakfast.

Among 4,000 people aged 40 to 54 in Spain, those who ate breakfast had less plaque in their arteries. Plaque is a buildup of fat, calcium and other substances in the arteries that hardens and narrows them, increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke and other complications.

Not only that, skipping breakfast also has a negative impact on hormones that regulate appetite, blood sugar and insulin.
