Looking back at round 7 of V-League 2015: Top teams "fall off their horses"
V-League has just gone through a turbulent round when the two leading teams both lost "shamefully" while the refereeing work was "heated" with the whistle blowing in Chi Lang.
Looking at the way B.Binh Duong lost weakly and comprehensively in Long An, we can see that the team known as “Vietnamese Chelsea” is not as strong as everyone thought. Mr. Le Thuy Hai was right when he said that losing is too normal for the team from Thu Dau Mot – if they keep playing like this.
After an impressive “start” in the first rounds, B.Binh Duong gradually declined with inconsistent performances - not something that should appear in the current champion and ambitious team. Still with an all-star lineup and the brightest star, Mr. Le Thuy Hai, on the coaching bench, the team from Thu Dau Mot was still completely defeated by the reasonable tactics of DTLA.

This is only the third victory of “Gach” since the beginning of the season, but up to this point, coach Ngo Quang Sang and his team are still the only unbeaten team in V-League 2015 and are ranked 4th with only 2 points less than the two leading teams, B.Binh Duong and Than Quang Ninh.
The return of DTLA in the highest league of domestic football is a model for HAGL with “Mr. Duc’s boys” to follow. Similar to the motto of rejuvenating the squad and focusing on training “young shoots”, but it can be seen that “Gach” is at least 2 years ahead of “Go”.
After 2 years of struggling to stay in the V-League for young players to gain experience, in the hands of coach Ngo Quang Sang is now a cohesive, youthful team with a desire to conquer.

Another shock to fans in round 7 was Than Quang Ninh's 0-1 defeat to Thanh Hoa in a match where the home team at Cam Pha Stadium completely dominated both the game and the number of opportunities created towards the opponent's goal.
According to statistics, the strikers of the coal mine team threatened goalkeeper To Vinh Loi's goal at least 20 times, but the ball "absolutely" did not enter the visitors' net and Than Quang Ninh "collapsed" after a lightning-fast counterattack by the Thanh Hoa team.
The second defeat of the team considered the "dark horse" of the tournament since the beginning of the season does not say much and does not affect the second place on the rankings of coach Dinh Cao Nghia and his team (still behind B.Binh Duong with the same 15 points but lower secondary index).
However, if they continue to lose at home and are stuck in finding a way into the opponent's goal like last weekend's match, Than Quang Ninh's ambition to compete for the championship will be a big question mark for the rest of the season.

SLNA is young but not immature in V-League 2015 (Photo: Minh Hoang) |
Another notable highlight in the V-League 2015 match that took place last weekend was SLNA with a convincing 2-0 victory over Hanoi T&T. Still playing with a "fiery" style imbued with the "character" of Nghe An, but the full 3 points against the capital team is the affirmation of coach Ngo Quang Truong and his team because SLNA is young but not "inexperienced" as experts and fans worried at the beginning of the season.
Meanwhile, the Central derby between SHB Da Nang and QNK Quang Nam became the real focus with the first "whistle-blowing" of this year's season when referee Hoang Ngoc Ha changed his decision, not recognizing the goal of the Han River team in the hanging situation of Vu Phong in the 84th minute.

The history of V-League has witnessed many decisions of "blowing the whistle" by the kings of the field. There were cases where they only received a penalty and were suspended for a few matches like Mr. Vo Minh Tri in V-League 2012, but no one forgot the decision of the king in black Nguyen Xuan Hoa to retire and hang up his whistle after the controversial decision of denying a valid goal of DTLA 7 years ago.
The question of whether referee Hoang Ngoc Ha’s decision to “blow the whistle” is right or wrong will have the most accurate answer after the Referee Board “dissects” the match. However, once again, the refereeing work has “heated up” again when many opinions say that the expertise and bravery of the black-shirted kings in V-League are not enough to meet expectations./.
