(Baonghean) - From April 21 to May 5, 2015, Nghe An Newspaper received and accepted the following petitions, letters of reflection, recommendations, complaints and denunciations:
- Mr. Nguyen Dinh Son, a citizen of Thach Son commune, Anh Son district, complained: The People's Court of Anh Son district opened a first-instance trial to try a land dispute between his family and the family of Mr. Tran Van Giap (plaintiff). His family had sufficient evidence and witnesses to prove that his family did not have a dispute with Mr. Giap's family. However, at the trial, the judge tried the case one-sidedly and did not consider the origin... Realizing that the case was not transparent, the family continued to file an appeal to the Provincial People's Court. After receiving a summons from the court, but because of the reason of being treated for illness, the family filed a request for postponement, but only 1 week later, they received another summons to appear at exactly 8:00 a.m. on March 27, 2015. This time, the family packed up and went to court but waited until 10:00 a.m. when the court staff showed up and announced that the priority was another case and scheduled for the afternoon, but in the afternoon, they prioritized another case. The behavior of the People's Court of Nghe An province made the family very upset. Therefore, he sent a petition to the authorities requesting clarification of the issue as well as reopening the trial publicly and transparently in accordance with the law.
- Ms. La Thi Tan, a citizen of Tung Huong village, Tam Quang commune, complained: Around 1953 - 1954, she started a family with Mr. La Van Tun (before that, Mr. Tun had 2 children, his wife died). In 1967, Mr. Tun's eldest son joined the army and died 1 year later. In early 2014, she submitted a petition to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, making a request to receive the martyr's care allowance. At the end of 2014, she received a monthly allowance for those who have contributed to caring for martyrs at the basic martyr's care allowance level. Now, she continues to submit a complaint to receive the martyr's family allowance. Can the authorities answer her whether she is entitled to receive the allowance and from when?
- Ms. Chu Thi Van, a citizen of Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district, requested: The relevant departments and agencies need to investigate and clarify the death of her daughter, quickly bring the murderer to light, and subject him to punishment according to the law.
