Ngoc Tram has had kidney failure since childhood. At only 11 years old, she has undergone 11 surgeries. Her right kidney was removed at Children's Hospital 2. Currently, her left kidney has dilated renal pelvis, hydronephrosis grade 3 in both ureters, and cystitis. Tram has just had surgery to remove her small intestine to increase bladder capacity.
According to Children's Hospital 2, to maintain her health, Ngoc Tram needs to have her remaining kidney replaced. However, due to Ngoc Tram's deteriorating health and financial difficulties, her family is currently caring for her at home.
