This activity is part of the 24th North Central Region Art Photography Festival jointly organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and the Quang Tri Literature and Arts Association. This year's festival attracted 175 authors from 6/6 provinces in the region, including: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.
On the morning of August 16, in Quang Tri, the opening ceremony of the 24th North Central Region Art Photography Exhibition 2017 took place, co-organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and the Quang Tri Province Association of Literature and Arts. The North Central Region photo festival includes 6 provinces and cities in the region: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue with 1,245 works by 175 authors.
Among the 120 best works selected by the Organizing Committee to participate in this exhibition, there are 11 photos that have just won awards at the festival, including: 1 Gold Medal, 2 Silver Medals, 3 Bronze Medals and 5 Encouragement Prizes. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 team prizes to Nghe An and Thua Thien Hue.
Participating in this festival, Nghe An province has 288 works by 39 authors, of which 1 work was awarded a Bronze Medal and 1 work won an Encouragement Prize, 16 other authors have photos displayed at the exhibition.
