Players leaving Song Lam Nghe An in the winter transfer window

After successfully recruiting two players Khac Ngoc and Van Khanh from Nam Dinh Green Steel,Lam River Nghe Andecided to let Nguyen Van Binh and Ho Phuc Tinh leave.

Among them, Ho Phuc Tinh, unable to find a place in the official squad, decided to retire. After leaving the first team, the striker born in 1994 switched to coaching at the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center. He is currently the assistant coach of the U13 Song Lam Nghe An team under the leadership of coach Nguyen Van Vinh. It is expected that the U13 team will participate in the qualifying round of the National Youth Championship in June 2025. Previously, Phuc Tinh completed the training course and received a Class C coaching certificate from the Vietnam Football Federation.

In addition, midfielder Nguyen Xuan Binh also left Song Lam Nghe An in the winter transfer window to join Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club on loan. During his time playing for the Song Lam Nghe An first team, Xuan Binh impressed with his abundant physical strength, aggressive playing style and fierce tackling ability. He played in his preferred position as a defensive midfielder. However, due to some central defenders being injured at the beginning of the season, the coaching staff tried him in the central defender role. However, Xuan Binh was not able to show his best form and had to give up his position to other teammates.

When moving to Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club, Xuan Binh is expected to help the team's midfield become more solid, thereby improving performance in the second phase of the season. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club is competing in the First Division and is temporarily ranked 7th on the V-League 2 rankings after 6 rounds.

In addition to the above changes, Song Lam Nghe An's first team also decided to lend two players to the U19 team, midfielder Phan Van Thanh and midfielder Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung. Both players born in 2006 will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities at the final round of the 2025 National U19 Tournament, taking place from February 15 to February 28, 2025 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. After the tournament ends, Van Thanh and Quoc Trung will return to Song Lam Nghe An's first team to continue training and competing.
