New books about warm parental love

"Outside the storm, mother's heart is peaceful", "Father and son", "I was kidnapped by my father" are works about parental love released on Vietnamese Family Day, June 28.

Outside is stormy, but mother's heart is peacefulis a book about the touching maternal love of Korean author - Cheon Myeong Kwan. The novel revolves around the life of In Mo - a 48-year-old man - in crisis: career failure, wife left for another man, not enough money to rent a house. At the moment of despair, In Mo received a phone call from his mother, asking him to come home to eat chicken porridge.

In Mo decided to stay at her mother's house after eating porridge. In the house was also her older brother, over 50 years old, who had been in and out of prison, unemployed and dependent on her mother for several years. With boundless love and tolerance, she soothed the painful wounds in the hearts of her children who had failed in life. Not only that, she encouraged them to overcome the past, stand up and rebuild their lives. She lit a spark of light in the souls and personalities of her children, whom outsiders considered "trash". The work "Outside the storm, mother's heart is peaceful" was made into a movie called Boomerang Family. The book was recently released by the Literature Publishing House, with the support of the Korean Literature Translation Institute.
