According to market segmentation, Vicem Hoang Mai cement focuses on large markets in the Central and Southern regions. In this strategic market, the Company is researching and investing in the construction of cement grinding stations to enhance its competitive advantage. With efforts to effectively develop the local market, currently in Nghe An and Ha Tinh, Vicem Hoang Mai products are occupying a large market share. In the first 6 months of 2014, 860,000 tons of products were consumed (an increase of more than 41% compared to the same period last year). In Nghe An, Vicem Hoang Mai's cement products accounted for 59% of the market share and in Ha Tinh, 30% (in 2013, nearly 875,000 tons were consumed in Nghe An and 190,000 tons in Ha Tinh).

Vicem Hoang Mai's production and business have been positive, so the company has always done well in paying the state budget for many consecutive years. Ms. Dau Thi Nga - Head of Finance and Accounting Department of Vicem Hoang Mai said, "After more than 13 years of production and business, the company has always had strong development steps and thanks to that, it has achieved a total revenue of 11,850 billion VND, paying the state budget a total of more than 627 billion VND. In 2013, Vicem Hoang Mai's total revenue reached 1,595 billion VND, paying the state budget 75.3 billion VND and in the first 6 months of 2014, the revenue reached 879 billion VND and paid more than 40 billion VND to the state budget." With that result, Vicem Hoang Mai has affirmed its important position in the field of cement production in Nghe An, and at the same time become one of the units that have fulfilled its budget payment obligations to the state.

Impressions of Nghe An Milk Factory

Since 2003, Vinamilk has promoted the investment in building Nghe An Dairy Factory in Cua Lo Town, and by mid-2005, it officially started production with the factory's sustainable development goal of exploiting fresh milk sources from investing in concentrated dairy farms in Nghe An and Ha Tinh. Investing in building Nghe An Dairy Factory with advanced and modern milk processing technology, therefore, along with boosting production, Vinamilk especially focuses on developing stable raw material sources through concentrated dairy farms. With the goal of gradually increasing the use of domestic raw materials, Vinamilk has invested in a system of developing raw material sources according to international standards from grass planting, barn construction, cow feed processing to veterinary management and surrounding environment. Currently, the Factory has 2 dairy farms, including a farm in Thai Hoa town with more than 3,000 cows and a farm in Huong Son district - Ha Tinh, with a total herd of about 6,000 dairy cows.

To have enough food for the dairy cows, the farm has planted 30 hectares of corn and grass, and contracted with households in the surrounding area to plant hundreds of hectares of grass and corn. The abundant source of green food has helped Nghe An Dairy Factory ensure good operation, increasingly expand production, diversify high-quality products such as 100% fresh milk, reconstituted milk, drinking yogurt and various types of yogurt, meeting the increasing consumption needs of customers. With a fully automated system of machinery and equipment, production reaches 40 million liters of all kinds of milk/year, supplying the market in the North Central provinces, from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh.

According to the assessment of the Tax Department of Cua Lo Town, Nghe An Milk Factory - Vinamilk is a unit that always follows the tax policies of the State, regularly has a high budget contribution, in 2012 it contributed to the state budget nearly 68.5 billion VND; in 2013 it contributed to the state budget over 113.5 billion VND.
