They must also confirm their enrollment according to the school's schedule or they will be considered as dropping out of school.

Exam scores may be announced early

According to the schedule, July 7 is the deadline for the Departments of Education and Training to announce the exam scores. However, according to Deputy Minister of Education and Training Bui Van Ga, any locality that finishes grading early can send the results to the ministry for comparison. If the results are accurate, the locality can announce them early. The Departments of Education and Training are preparing the best conditions in terms of technology infrastructure for the announcement of exam results.

After localities submit national high school exam score data, the Ministry of Education and Training will take 3-4 days to process and analyze the results. It is expected that the floor score council will meet on July 11-12 and announce the floor score and score distribution immediately after.

How to look up 2017 national high school exam scores?

This year, national high school exam score data will be distributed to 63 exam clusters nationwide. Departments of Education and Training will announce exam scores no later than July 7.

There are 10 days to request a review of the exam.

According to the exam regulations, all candidates have the right to have their exam papers reviewed. Candidates must submit their exam review application at the place where they registered to take the exam.

The high school where the candidate registered for the exam shall receive the request for review within 10 days from the date of announcement of the exam scores and transfer the data of the candidate requesting review of the exam to the examination council. Within 15 days from the deadline for receiving the request for review, the examination council shall announce and send the review results to the candidate.

How is high school graduation considered?

According to the regulations on national high school exams and graduation recognition in 2017, the graduation score includes the scores of the exams taken for graduation recognition, priority and incentive points if any, and the average score of the entire 12th grade year with a weight of 50 - 50. The score of each exam is converted to a 10-point scale. The failing score of each independent exam (on a 10-point scale) is 1, the failing score of each component subject (on a 10-point scale) of the combined exams is also 1.

Candidates who are eligible to take the exam, have not been disciplined at the level of exam cancellation or higher, all exams and component subjects of the combined exam for graduation recognition score above 1 on a 10-point scale and have a graduation score of 5 or higher will be recognized as graduating.

One time adjustment of admission wishes

According to the regulations, after the exam results are available, candidates can adjust their admission application once. The change period is from July 15 to 23. There are two ways to change: online and using the admission adjustment form.

With the online method, the time for changes for TS is from July 15 to 5:00 p.m. on July 21. TS uses the personal account and password that has been granted to adjust the registration wishes at the address thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn. This method is only accepted when the number of wishes after adjustment is not greater than the initial registration number in the application form.

The adjustment period using the form is from July 15 to 5:00 p.m. on July 23 for candidates who want to increase the number of wishes compared to the initial registration number and must pay additional fees for the increased number of wishes according to regulations.

The results of the re-scoring of the essay test are specifically handled by the examination council secretariat as follows: If the marking results of the two re-scoring officers are the same, that result will be used as the re-scoring score. If the marking results are different, the test paper will be withdrawn and handed over to the head of the re-scoring committee to organize for a third officer to directly mark the paper with a different colored ink.

If the scoring results of 2 out of 3 reviewers are the same, the same score will be used as the review score. If the scoring results of all 3 reviewers are different, the head of the review board will take the average score of the 3 scoring times, rounded to two decimal places, as the review score and then sign to confirm.

The exam has a re-examination score that differs from the first round of grading (announced) by 0.25 points or more, the score will be adjusted. In case the re-examination score differs from the first round of grading by 0.5 points or more, a direct dialogue must be organized between the first round of grading officers and the re-examination score officers (with minutes recorded). The re-examination score of the multiple-choice test review team is the official score of the candidate in the exam.

Announcement of university admission scores

Schools will announce the first round of admission results on their websites before 5:00 p.m. on August 1.

Candidates must confirm their admission before 5:00 p.m. on August 7 online or according to school regulations. Students who arrive at school more than 15 days late from the admission date stated in the admission notice will be considered as dropping out of school without a valid reason.

Additional recruitment

From August 13, schools that have not yet recruited enough students will begin additional recruitment according to each school's schedule.
