1. Campaign "Nghe An Youth study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings":

Along with studying, researching, and learning about Uncle Ho's actions, deeds, and teachings, grassroots organizations of the Youth Union have regularly integrated "following" tasks into the programs and movements of the Youth Union, in accordance with the actual conditions of each locality and unit, such as: building a bookcase "Youth following Uncle Ho's words"; writing a diary, a golden book "Following Uncle Ho's words"; Workshop "40 years of implementing the Testament and 40 years of implementing Uncle Ho's letter to the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province"; volunteering to help poor children, giving gifts to policy families; supporting and helping young people to establish themselves and start a business... There have been 359 collectives and 1,058 typical and advanced individuals at all levels of the Youth Union honored and commended for their typical examples of studying and following Uncle Ho.

2. Program "Towards the West"

Deployed since 2007 with specific and practical contents: propaganda against drugs, social evils, disease prevention, environmental sanitation, transfer of scientific and technological advances, popularization of information technology to connect knowledge networks, counseling on reproductive health care for youth and children in mountainous areas, participating in building and developing infrastructure, building a new cultural life, examining and giving free medicine to the poor, policy families, supporting youth in mountainous areas to develop the economy. Up to now, nearly 8,000 young intellectuals have volunteered, established 702 youth volunteer teams to support and develop rural mountainous areas; opened 14 classes to popularize information technology for more than 1,000 youth and children in mountainous areas; supported, donated to build and hand over 9 boarding houses worth 1.5 billion VND...

3. Accompanying youth in job training and supporting economic development:

Currently, the total outstanding debt among youth has reached over 300 billion VND with nearly 25,000 youths receiving loans and 200 billion VND for more than 9,000 students. Establishing a youth start-up fund at the provincial and district levels with a total fund of over 3 billion VND. Currently, with 8 Youth Volunteer Teams - Construction and Development, jobs have been created for more than 2,200 mountainous youth households, with an average income of 50 - 70 million VND/year per household; newly establishing the Youth Development Support Center; Phuc Son Employment Center. Organizing more than 1,200 training courses on transferring science and technology to 80,000 union members and youths; building about 450 science and technology demonstration points for nearly 7,000 youths. Coordinated career counseling, job placement, and labor export for 1,500 grassroots Youth Union officials and 30,000 youth union members from 20/20 districts, cities, and towns; organized 10 study abroad seminars, counseling conferences, job introduction, and labor export for more than 50,000 youth union members.

4. Youth volunteer movement:

Organized 240 young medical and doctor teams to examine, treat and give free medicine to nearly 34,000 people; donated nearly 16,000 units of blood; mobilized thousands of young union members to participate in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods; coordinated the construction of 34 charity houses, totaling 1.02 billion VND; counseled 120,100 students, introduced 29,325 rooms for rent, 7,125 buses to transport candidates, including 3,526 rooms for rent, 3,130 free buses.

5. Activities "Drinking water, remember its source" - "Repaying gratitude":

Every year on July 27, the Youth Union at all levels mobilizes members, union members, and youth to participate in beautifying martyrs' cemeteries, planting flowers, ornamental plants, and whitewashing graves. In particular, the "Youth Pays Gratitude to Heroes and Martyrs" week is organized, typically the "Candlelighting Ceremony" is held solemnly and emotionally. Along with that, the Youth Union has maintained the "Finding Red Address" movement of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team, voluntarily participating in helping families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of war invalids, meritorious people, and former youth volunteers. The organization commends children of policy families who overcome difficulties and study well, coordinates with sectors to organize vocational training, create jobs, and award scholarships...

During his tenure, he coordinated with the President to posthumously award the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to 14 soldiers of C317 and N65 of the Youth Volunteer Force against the US to save the country in Nghe An province on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Truong Bon Victory; coordinated to call on all classes of people to contribute more than 10 billion VND to build Truong Bon Relic; built and repaired more than 100 houses for families with preferential policies; organized visits and gave thousands of gifts, thousands of working days to repair martyrs' cemeteries...

6. Program "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth" and Campaign "For beloved juniors":

Implemented since 2008, up to now, 16/20 district-level units have established clubs and groups of friends to light up the dream. The whole province has organized 370 forums and exchange programs "Light up the dream of Vietnamese youth" with more than 185,000 youths, pupils and students participating; built a fund "Light up the dream" reaching over 1 billion VND; mobilized financial resources to award scholarships to poor pupils and students of nearly 3 billion VND; donated 1,850 gifts with a total value of 1.9 billion VND. Received help, sponsored and cared for 11,140 students with a total amount of over 1.3 billion VND, donated over 24,735 books, notebooks, 35,123 red scarves to children in difficult circumstances; built a fund "For poor friends" with a total amount of 314.7 million VND.

7. Promote the core role in building and organizing activities:

Currently, the province has 20 district-level Youth Union committees, 480/480 commune-level Youth Union committees, 6,513 branches, 1,755 clubs, groups, teams, and groups, and 252,996 members. The rate of gathering youth in special areas is 57.5% (of which the rate of gathering ethnic minority youth is 65%, and the rate of gathering youth in religious areas is 50%). During the past term, the types of branches, clubs, groups, teams, and youth groups by profession and interest have increased rapidly in number, the quality of activities has increased, and they have had a great influence on the youth. The Young Doctors Club was established at the provincial level and in 20 districts, cities, and towns. The Provincial Student Association continues to develop with over 50,000 members. The Young Entrepreneurs Association has grown, attracting 200 members to participate in activities.

8. International youth activities are promoted:

Every year, Nghe An is one of the provinces chosen by the National Committee for Overseas Vietnamese as one of the locations to organize summer camps for overseas Vietnamese students. In exchange activities with countries around the world such as Japan, Korea, Vietnam - China Youth Festival, World Youth Festival in South Africa, International Summer Camp for Children, Nghe An youth and children have participated with high spirit and sense of responsibility and left many good impressions. In 2012, successfully coordinated the organization of the 12th Vietnam - China youth exchange in Nghe An. Organized many exchange and foreign affairs activities with youth from Laos, which shares a border with Nghe An.
