Promising 'architects' of Nghe An football
(Baonghean.vn) - Not only is Nghe An a place that provides a large number of players for V.League, First Division as well as the Vietnam National Team, it is also the birthplace of many football experts and coaches with high degrees and good professional qualifications.
Following the tradition of their fathers, former SLNA players such as Coach Nguyen Huu Thang, Ngo Quang Truong, Nguyen Duc Thang, Nguyen Thanh Cong are the ones who soon obtained the AFC Professional Coaching Diploma (Pro Coaching Diploma). This is the highest qualification in modern football. With this qualification, coaches are qualified to participate in all club and national team tournaments in Asia.
In the same generation as 7X, the Van Sy brothers are also highly valued in the role of football management, youth training and professional roles. After 12 years working at the capital team, Coach Van Sy Son is the Nghe An native with the most achievements on the field. In addition, the middle-aged generation of SLNA coaches also includes Coach Pham Anh Tuan, who is currently leading Hai Phong Club.
In the 8X generation, Nghe An football also has many talented coaches. We can mention coaches Duong Hong Son, Nguyen The Anh, Nguyen Huy Hoang. Former goalkeeper Duong Hong Son started his coaching career with U19 Hanoi. In the 2018 National Third Division, as captain, Duong Hong Son helped the Hanoi youth team win a promotion ticket.

At the 2019 National U21 Championship, Coach Duong Hong Son helped Hanoi U21 convincingly win the championship. Thanks to his talent and coaching style, Duong Hong Son was appointed as the captain of the Vietnam U21 Team, winning the 2019 International U21 Championship. Hong Son's coaching career is predicted to be very "bright" thanks to the Hanoi Club creating very good conditions for development.
Goalkeepers Nguyen The Anh and Vo Van Hanh both have the highest goalkeeper coaching qualifications in Asia. Both have been and are assistants to the head coaches of the U22 Vietnam team, the Vietnam national team, and teams in the V.League. At the recent 30th SEA Games, goalkeeper coach The Anh helped U22 Vietnam win the historic championship.
Possessing an A degree - a degree that qualifies them to lead the V.League, there are also coaches Nguyen Huy Hoang, Phan Nhu Thuat, Le Manh Huy (U17 SLNA). While coach Huy Hoang has many years of experience in youth and professional coaching, coach Phan Nhu Thuat has shown his "cool hand" with the championships with U11 SLNA in 2017, 2018, and the U15 championship in 2019. Both are directly assisting coach Ngo Quang Truong.

Nghe An coaches who are holding AFC B-certificates and are expected to become famous in the future include Nguyen Ngoc Anh and Nguyen Minh Duc. Although former center-back Minh Duc once worked as assistant head coach at Saigon FC, the former national team captain has yet to start a new job.
With 14 years of playing at the highest level, participating in all levels of the national team, Minh Duc promises to be a promising coach. With his excellent English skills, the possibility of owning an A degree in the future is not too difficult for him.
At the same age as Minh Duc and Nhu Thuat are Van Quyen and Quoc Vuong, who are holding the C - AFC certificate. If Quoc Vuong quickly became an effective assistant to coach Pham Anh Tuan in Hai Phong, Van Quyen started as an assistant to coach Phan Nhu Thuat at the U15 SLNA team and is currently the deputy coach of the U17 SLNA team.

Currently, players who are still playing such as Trong Hoang, Dinh Dong, Dinh Luat, Duc Cuong, Dinh Hoang have also completed their C certificate to pursue a coaching career in the future. These are all players who have played for the national team for many years and that experience will certainly be honed and passed on to the younger generation in the future.
The coaches and students of the next generation are highly appreciated because they have access to modern football knowledge since they were players, the conditions and techniques applied to study and practice are far superior to those of their predecessors. "Old bamboo, new shoots grow", the development of Nghe An football is waiting for these future "architects".
