Consider carefully before registering for the exam.
In the 2016 National High School Exam, candidates register for 8 subjects including: Math, Literature, History, Geography, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Candidates for graduation exam register for at least 4 subjects, including 3 compulsory subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 1 elective subject.
Please choose the subjects that you can get the highest score and are suitable for the exam combination that your University or College requires. You can choose the most convenient exam cluster and need to clearly state the exam cluster in the exam registration form. The entire content of the exam registration form must be completed and submitted before April 30, 2016.
On the last day of this exam registration period, candidates are not allowed to change information about the exam cluster and registered subjects, so you need to consider carefully before registering.
Ask the staff guiding the application about how to present it.
Application forms are often very strict in terms of spelling and writing style, and even a single mistake can disqualify your application or cause you a lot of trouble. Read the rules for uppercase, lowercase, and adding zeros on the instruction sheet or ask your instructor before you start writing. Many students also choose to borrow their friends' completed application forms for reference.
Avoid confusing exam clusters
When filling out the exam registration form, if you are taking the exam only to be recognized as a high school graduate, only tick the box "Register to take the exam for recognition as a high school graduate". If you are taking the exam for recognition as a high school graduate and for admission to a university or college, you need to tick both boxes "Register to take the exam for recognition as a high school graduate" and "Register to take the exam for admission to a university or college".

Independent candidates can choose the exam location.
If you are an independent candidate, you can completely choose the location to submit your application, but you must comply with the exam clusters with the high school candidates of that registration unit.
If you want to apply for university or college, you can choose the exam cluster hosted by that university and submit your application at a location that suits your conditions (it is not necessary to go to the university or college to submit your application).
Pay attention to your contest registration account
After submitting the exam registration form, the candidate will be given an account and password by the exam registration unit to access the QLT software via the internet at http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn.
You should monitor your exam registration account to know information such as: feedback on exam registration errors, information on high school graduation recognition, exam notice, exam location, and university and college admission results.
