Goalkeeper Cao Van Binh is a special case of Song Lam Nghe An youth football with rapid progress in 2022. As teammates with Dinh Xuan Tien, Ho Van Cuong won the 2020 National U17 Championship under the guidance of coach Le Ky Phuong, Hoang Canh and Ngoc Dung are the two most prominent faces in the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Team due to their physical factors. In the center-back position, Hoang Canh is 1m79 tall and Ngoc Dung is 1m81 tall in the left-back position, always having the advantage and catching the attention of any coach.

If Tran Ngoc Dung has missed many opportunities in recent years due to injury, Hoang Canh has also been called up to the Vietnam U19 team to participate in the 2022 Southeast Asian U19 Championship. If not for the injury, Hoang Canh would certainly have been on the list of Vietnam U20 to participate in the 2023 Asian U20 Qualifiers.

In addition, in the defense line, faces such as Tran Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Van Bay, Le Nguyen Hoang are also central defenders who have many achievements in youth tournaments and have quite good expertise. Midfielder Quang Vinh is considered one of the rising stars of the Song Lam Nghe An youth team because of his maturity in playing style, ability to operate widely and compete well. In the past, the player from Nghi Loc won the National U13 Championship in 2018 and the National U15 Championship in 2019 before being called up to the Vietnam U15 team. In addition to Quang Vinh, Song Lam Nghe An has many other talented young midfielders such as Ngo Van Bac, Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung, and Le Dinh Long Vu (Vietnam U17 team).

One of the regrettable things about Song Lam Nghe An's first participation in the third division tournament is that the strikers' physiques are not really good. In return, the young strikers of Song Lam Nghe An have good technique. Among the 3 strikers, Van Luong, Van Tuyen and Tien Dung, captain Ngo Van Luong is the most experienced player, having been loaned out to play in lower division tournaments for many years. If Truong Van Tuyen was the main striker of U17 Song Lam Nghe An in the last tournament and was highly appreciated in terms of technique, Pham Tien Dung has an advantage with a height of 1m74.

In Group A of the 2022 National Third Division Football Tournament, Song Lam Nghe An Youth's opponents are teams such as Hanoi Youth (the core of Hanoi U19), People's Public Security Youth, Luxury Ha Long, Phu Yen - a very good opportunity for Coach Nguyen Van Tien's students to compete and gain experience before catching the eye of the first team's coaching staff in the future.
