The precious footage of “Memories of Vietnam” will be broadcast at 9:50 p.m. on VTV1 channel from August 19.
On the afternoon of August 13, Vietnam Television and NewTime Media Company launched a new television program called “Memories of Vietnam” with the participation of People's Artist Nguyen Thanh Van, director of photography Nguyen Huu Tuan, writer Nguyen Viet Ha and journalist Nguyen Ngoc Tien and the program's production crew.

Vietnam Television bought the copyright to color films about Vietnam from 1964 to 1981 and developed them into episodes with independent themes but keeping the original. “Memories of Vietnam” is a combination of visual materials and memories of hundreds of characters participating in the program.
This is also the only multi-dimensional color film about nearly two decades of the North living and fighting for the South. Also within the framework of the program, the audience will meet many characters and leaders whose names and contributions have gone down in the history of the nation.
