Delayed due to lost or incorrect documents!

Voter Le Van Dao (Hamlet 5, Thanh My Commune, Thanh Chuong District): “I fought in the Southern battlefield from 1964 to 1975, and received 3 Resistance Medals awarded by the State. The area where I fought was affected by Agent Orange. I still have the health certificate issued by my unit before returning home. Because I was too old for military service, I declared a different year of birth to be able to go to the battlefield. Now my documents do not match my date of birth, and some other documents are lost, so I am not currently entitled to the wounded and sick soldier regime. Many times I brought my documents to the authorities but they were all returned. I think there needs to be an appropriate form so as not to miss out on the rights of those who deserve to enjoy preferential treatment.”
Voter Phan Ba Dong (Hamlet 1, Thanh Lien Commune, Thanh Chuong District): “I fought in Cambodia from 1984 to 1987. Previously, due to lost documents, I did not receive any support from the State. But nearly 10 years ago, when I returned to my old unit, I was lucky to meet the previous unit leaders and was helped by everyone to redo my records and documents. Therefore, I am currently receiving monthly support money. But in reality, not many people are as lucky as me. I think there needs to be a suitable form to judge the right person, the right job.”

Don't let the project "stay in the glass cabinet"
Voter Ngo Hoang Linh, Deputy Director of the Center for Application of Scientific and Technological Advances: “In fact, most of the scientific and technological advances that the unit selects and acts as a focal point for transferring to localities have good acceptance results, the number of unsuccessful projects is only a minority. So why do we hear so much about the shortcomings of “projects and research projects in glass cabinets”? I think, partly because from the models that are scientifically successful to high economic value and mass production, there is still no close and synchronous connection. For example, a model of trees and animals growing very well in mountainous areas, where people's lives are still difficult - is a positive signal and the first successful step in bringing scientific and technological advances into practice. But if the product commercialization process is not good, maintaining and replicating the model is extremely difficult. Thus, in addition to the responsibility of research and selection based on the actual local situation of the scientist, the model is also very difficult to implement. In addition to studying, there also needs to be "support" from all levels, sectors and businesses.
Voter Hoang Van Binh, fisherman of Tien Thuy commune (Quynh Luu): Scientists have not really accompanied people in the issue of going offshore and sticking to the sea. To increase offshore fishing productivity, fishermen need big boats, big machines and modern fishing gear, and there are no domestic products, they have to buy foreign products so the price is very high. Fishermen really want scientists to have technology improvement projects to directly invest in researching these types of machines to help reduce product costs, so people can easily equip their fishing boats. Even with close, simple issues, domestic scientists have long paid little attention, such as the issue of improving fishing gear and fishing equipment...
Disadvantage for workers
Voter Tran Thi Lan, an employee of Vinh Vocational College of Economics and Technology, reflected: Previously, I worked at Cong Thanh Secondary School (Yen Thanh), until 2009, I wrote an application to transfer to teach at Vinh Vocational College of Economics and Technology. During this time, I enjoyed all benefits, and was signed a decision by the Vinh City People's Committee to periodically increase my salary... However, in July 2014, I and 22 other teachers and employees in the school were forced to request the termination of our labor contracts because the labor contracts between the school and us (all of which were indefinite-term labor contracts) were not in accordance with regulations.
I am very concerned as to why for such a long time, the authorities have not detected and handled the case? And, why was the list of employees who were recruited by the school for an indefinite period of time when submitted to the departments and offices of Vinh City approved for salary increases according to the term of office, and enjoyed all the benefits according to the Labor Law?
Voter Vo Ngoc Tan, Head of Vinh City's Internal Affairs Department: Vinh City is a densely populated area with a large number of students, but there is an imbalance between the number of students in wards and communes, so to ensure the implementation of tasks, some schools have had to "circumvent the law" to sign labor contracts with teachers. This 2015-2016 school year, Vinh City has increased by 2,316 students compared to the previous school year, which means an increase of 70 classes, so nearly 100 more teachers are needed. Thus, if there is no adjustment in policy, in practice there will be more cases of signing labor contracts that are not in accordance with regulations.
