(Baonghean) - Over the past 10 years (from 2003 to 2014), cooperation between Nghe An and Ho Chi Minh City has been promoted through many practical activities; many investors have had effective projects, contributing to changing the socio-economic landscape of the province. Nghe An also has many mechanisms and policies to attract investors. However, there are still limitations, shortcomings, and problems that need to be resolved. On the occasion of summarizing 10 years of cooperation between the two localities, investors shared some heartfelt opinions...

Mr. Nguyen Canh Nam,Chairman of Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City“The investment environment in Nghe An is currently very favorable for investors: there are gold forests, silver seas, synchronous and convenient transportation, and an abundant labor force. But the biggest limitation is finding skilled labor. Especially professional and efficient management staff; they do not have the mindset of devoting themselves to work and the collective. Although the province has an open mechanism to attract investors, some departments still make things difficult, not completely satisfying investors. As responsible investors, we hope that Nghe An will be clear about policies, promptly resolve and create the most favorable conditions for projects and works to operate effectively.”

Mr. Nguyen Canh Ha,Chairman of the Board of Directors of An Thien Ly Service Investment Company(Ho Chi Minh City): Our company is currently investing in a residential area project in Lac Son commune - Do Luong district with an area of ​​nearly 10 hectares, but has encountered some difficulties. Previously, we received land transfers from local people to establish an aquaculture project, the local people received full compensation, and we were granted a Land Use Rights Certificate. However, after the investment research process, we found that the aquaculture project was no longer suitable, so we applied to change the land use purpose to the Thien Ly - Lac Son residential area project and it was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province; we have completed all procedures, documents, and valid records. However, we have encountered opposition from local people, so we cannot implement the project. We hope that Nghe An province will soon resolve the difficulties for investors so that the project can be implemented soon.

Mr. Vo Hai Thanh -Director of Saigon - Song Lam Beer Joint Stock Company:In recent years, Nghe An province has made efforts to improve the investment and business environment of Nghe An with the motto "Government accompanies, enterprises develop". As a representative of the Corporation as well as Saigon - Song Lam Beer Joint Stock Company, I hope that Nghe An province will continue to maintain the achieved results, research and supplement investment incentive policies for enterprises, as well as encourage the use of products produced in the province, which is a solution that not only brings more efficiency to enterprises, increases budget revenue for the province, reduces transportation costs, removes difficulties for enterprises and contributes to improving the business environment of Nghe An province. On the other hand, for enterprises whose investment locations are outside industrial parks, Nghe An province needs to pay attention to security and order in the area as well as clearly orient the psychology of local officials and people where the enterprises are located.

I believe that in the near future, capable domestic and foreign investors will consider Nghe An a favorable and highly effective investment destination.
