(Baonghean.vn) - The total amount of money that Minh Khang Trading Company Limited has not paid to the state budget is 248,418,751,437 VND. Of which, land use fee is 237,712,598,000 VND, late payment fee is 10,706,153,437 VND.
According to the Vinh City Tax Department, based on Decision No. 259/QD-UBND dated May 10, 2018 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the average land price of the land plot of Minh Khang Trading Company Limited implementing the project in Nghi Phu Commune (Vinh City), in mid-2018, this agency twice issued notices requesting Minh Khang Trading Company Limited to pay land use fees (Notice No. 3633/TB-CCT dated May 30, 2018 and Notice No. 4171/TB-CCT dated June 25, 2018).

The total land use fee that Minh Khang Trading Company Limited must pay to the state budget is 237,712,598,000 VND.

However, Minh Khang Trading Company Limited did not pay the land use fee within the time limit specified in the notice. That is, within 30 days from the date of signing the Notice of the tax authority, the land user must pay 50% of the land use fee according to the Notice; within the next 60 days, the land user must pay the remaining 50% of the land use fee according to the Notice.
Therefore, Minh Khang Trading Company Limited is forced to pay late payment according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration.
According to Notice No. 235/TB-CCT dated January 16, 2019 of Vinh City Tax Department on the notification of tax arrears, fines and late payment, as of December 31, 2018, the total amount not yet paid to the state budget by Minh Khang Trading Company Limited is VND 248,418,751,437. Of which, land use fee is VND 237,712,598,000, late payment is VND 10,706,153,437.
According to research, Minh Khang Trading Company Limited is implementing a project to build a complex of hotels, supermarkets trading in pharmaceuticals - medical equipment and supplies and housing in Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city).
The detailed planning of this project was approved by the competent authority in July 2007. As of September 2014, the project has undergone 5 planning adjustments.
