Regarding the large explosion that occurred at a 5-story house in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City, on the afternoon of 6:12 p.m., the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Police have announced the identities of the 4 injured victims.
Currently, 4 victims injured in the explosion at the 5-storey building in Ho Chi Minh City are being treated at Cho Ray Hospital with burns on 80-90% of their bodies. The victims were identified as Ta Quang Vu (25 years old, residing in Binh Thanh District), Nguyen Van Hieu (24 years old, residing in Binh Tan District), Phan Nguyen Tuan Anh (24 years old, residing in District 4) and Le Thanh Tu (24 years old, residing in Binh Duong Province).
According to information released by the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Police, the explosion in a 5-story building in Ho Chi Minh City occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on December 6, at house number 126D Tran Ke Xuong, Ward 7, Phu Nhuan District. At this time, people living in the surrounding area heard a loud explosion coming from house number 126D Tran Ke Xuong. When people ran out to see, they saw smoke and fire coming from the 4th floor of the house, and at the same time, 4 young men in a state of blackening ran out calling for help.
Immediately, the people called the fire police and took the victims to the nearest Gia Dinh Hospital for emergency treatment. Due to the serious injuries, the victims were immediately transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for treatment.
It is known that the house where the explosion occurred on the first floor is a biological products distribution center, and the upper floors are rented to students.
Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Police are continuing to coordinate with relevant authorities to investigate and clarify the incident.
