To create a playground for students, he and the School Youth Union Executive Committee launched many movements to encourage students to practice sports, participate in mass cultural activities, especially volunteer activities for the community. As Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung directly participates in programs to support exam season, green summer, humanitarian blood donation... Every year, the school's Youth Union registers students to participate in activities to help localities, especially remote mountainous districts, build roads, clean the environment, teach, and donate blood voluntarily. With his contributions to professional work and the Youth Union's work, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung has received certificates of merit from the Central Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union. He was honored by the Provincial Youth Union as a youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2013 and an outstanding young teacher in 2014.
